I am a firm believer that you should enjoy the food you eat. Healthy eating doesn’t have to be boring and unless you have a medical reason to eliminate something from your diet it’s okay to enjoy it, just be mindful. I love fried chicken but I’m certainly not going to eat it every week but I won’t feel guilty when I do.
This is a list of healthier recipes that can be adjusted to meet dietary restrictions if you have them. Some are healthier than others but I am of the opinion that if you use the best possible fresh, local, in season, unprocessed ingredients when you cook you will feel better about what you eat! And if you’re cooking at home more often than eating out that’s a step in the healthier direction!
